The Grove Grizzly

A Note From the Office
Grove ABC Countdown
As the end of the school year approaches, our students and staff will continue to be working hard and learning and growing all the way until the very last day of school. With that said, we also are planning to build in some fun to celebrate the end of the school year and make our last days together for the year memorable. As a result, we will have an ABC Countdown that students and staff are invited to participate in over the course of the last 26 days of the school year – one day for each letter in the alphabet. Please click on the link to the ABC Calendar that has been created by our staff. The calendar shares what each day will entail!

Kindergarten – 3rd Grade BIG EVENT
The Kindergarten – 3rd Grade BIG EVENT field trip to LEGOLAND is scheduled for Monday, April 30th! Earlier this week, all parents of K-3rd Graders were sent an e-mail with a link to the permission form for students to attend the trip. Included in the form, parents are asked to indicate whether a student is bringing a sack lunch from home or they can order a sack lunch from school. All lunches being brought from home must be in disposable containers that students do not need to bring back with them from the trip. Please also note that the buses will be leaving promptly at 8:30 a.m. on the morning of the trip in order for students to arrive at LEGOLAND with enough time to participate in all of the activities that will be available to them. As a result, it is critical that students are on time to school in order to attend the trip. Students will not need to bring anything with them for the trip besides their lunch. The students will return to school around 1:30 p.m.

5th Grade Farewell
Let's send the class of 2025 off in style!

We need your help to send off our 5th graders! Please help setting up for this year’s 5th Grade Farewell. We are looking for parents to help hang decorations and arrange food donations from 1-3 p.m.on May 29th. Historically, 4th grade parents help out the night of the event — if you are interested in doing this from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., we’d appreciate it. Thank you to those parents who already volunteered! Please contact Bree at bree.heick@gmail.com or Brittany at pbjsperling@sbcglobal.net if you are able to help.
