Principal Question and Answer Session-Tuesday, September 8th at 9:15 a.m.
Mrs. Matthews will be hosting a Principal Q&A Session during the PTO Meeting on Tuesday, September 8th. Please submit questions ahead of time to the Google Form in preparation for the meeting. The meeting will be recorded, so any parent who is unable to attend the live session can view the recording and hear answers to their questions following the meeting.
Remote Book Check-Out
Our Grove library will be starting curbside pickup for print books starting the week of September 14, 2020 beginning with students in 3rd-5th grade.
· Students in 3rd to 5th grade will be taught to put books on hold using Destiny Discover.
· The library staff will pull the books and email the parents to let them know books are ready for pick up
· Books will be put in brown paper bags labeled with the student’s name, grade, class and be placed on tables in the front foyer of the school.
· Parents may pick up books Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM- 3:00 PM.
· Bins will be placed in the foyer under the tables to collect returned books when students are done reading.
· When a routine is established for 3rd-5th grade students, students in K-2 will be taught how to select books for curbside pickup from a choice menu for personal selection
Distance Learning Resources for Parents
Over the past several months, our school and district have been working to create resources for parents to help support their children at home with distance learning. As a result, I have provided links to the various resources for you to reference throughout distance learning. Examples of some of the tools at your fingertips include recordings of the recent Parent Universities, directions for parent access to Schoology and SeeSaw, tips for managing tech. at home, and tutorials for apps. such as Zoom, Padlet, and Flipgrid.

School Visitor Protocol
We are excited to welcome back small groups of students and parents to our school buildings at the start of the 2020-21 school year. In order to make sure everyone stays safe, the district has worked to put many protocols in place. Things will look very different from previous years, so please take some time to review these protocols before visiting our schools by clicking on the link to the protocols below.
