The Grove Grizzly Communities Unite to Fight Rett Barrington High School and Palatine High School Communities are uniting to fight Rett Syndrome! The two schools will be participating in a joint fundraiser to raise money for Rett research in efforts to find a cure. Both schools are selling Rett Awareness t-shirts to be worn at the September 27th football game being held at Palatine High, where the teams will face each other. Please consider purchasing a shirt tonight at Grove’s Back to School Bash for a minimum donation of $15/per shirt. We would love to see Grove families at the football game at PHS on September 27th as Madden Manz, sibling of two Grove students, will be leading the teams onto the field. If you would like to purchase a t-shirt and are not able to do so at the Bash, please contact Mrs. Matthews via e-mail.           Donations can also be made online through Rettsyndrome.org or amissionformadden.com   2019-2020 Grove Music Concerts Please be sure to read the attached documents (Spanish or English) from Mrs. Boyer regarding our grade-level music performances this school year! We are excited to be once again offering separate music performances for our grade levels.   School Pictures Our student school pictures will be held on Friday, September 20th! Order forms for families to purchase pictures were sent home with students on Wednesday. We are using the company Color Portraits, which offers online ordering. For easy online ordering, visit www.ordercp.com and be sure to enter our school code: 10065101. A QR code for easy access to the site is included on the order form, as well as, the school code.   Students do not need an order form on picture day if an order is placed online prior to the day of pictures, however, orders being placed the day of pictures will require students to have their form in hand.     Please be sure to avoid having your child wear green, as a green screen is used in order to enable families to select different background options! Every student will take a picture on picture day!   Family Pictures We are offering the opportunity for Grove families to come in on two different evenings to take family pictures to be added to our collage of Grove Families in the main hallway of the school.
